Project 365: Weeks 6 & 7! Playing Catch up!
These last couple of weeks have been crazy and I was not able to complete my weekly blogs so I'm combining these weeks. This blog will be pretty sparse on details, but I'm hoping to pick it back up next week.
Day 36/365 We played like it was summer ❤️
We've had some gorgeous weather and have been taking advantage of it! I will add that I created this sky in Photoshop! I will possibly add a section of videos to the site to show some of my edits. For this I selected the top half of the photo and used a gradient to create the sky.
Day 37/365 He's all me, long limbs and all
My boy is growing so fast! I love when light peeks through from the corner of an image.
Day 38/365 The kid thought he was going to get an easy day off from school, but I took him out on a hike instead!
Day 39/365 Today's movie was storks
You have to love a good dollar theater in your area! I exposed for her face and waited until just enough light from the screen came on to help illuminate her, like my previous movie photograph.
Day 40/365 The way he was staring at that cookie you'd think it was the last cookie that he was going to have 😂😂
Of course I have to mention the light coming through the window and the way the lines are falling on him. I also removed a few things from the wall for a cleaner look.
Day 41/365 Nosy Neighbor
She's getting old now so she's doing what old ladies do, spying on the neighbors and barking at the kids to stay off the lawn😂😂😂
Day 42/365 A little backyard baseball with the big kid. We managed to not hit the ball in the neighbor's yard or break any windows!
Day 43/365 A little one on one. We need to spruce up our skills for the new soccer season coming up
Day 44/365 I have a love/hate relationship with #playdoh. It's so messy, yet it keeps the kids entertained for long periods of time. This time I decided to tolerate the mess for some piece and quiet...lol
I love dark moody images, but this one needed more light, so I used my external flash on top of the camera and bounced it off of the ceiling.
Day 45/365 One more Valentine's Day share before the night is over! She's such a good sport most of the time 😍😂❤️
A little Valentines Day fun! I used my usual setup, one speed light and 24x24in softbox, about 4 ft away.
Day 46/365 There's a new pup in town. She calls her Sparkles and brother calls her Big Billy 😂😂😂
We couldn't pass up this 50% off deal on Valentines related items.
To light this, I used my speed light on top of the camera and bounced it.
Day 47/365 Today we walked on water.... It was frozen of course 😂😂

We just had to sit in this beautiful light on this beautiful day!
Day 49/365 I had another photo for today, but THAT light! Good window light gets me every time!
I really love when the light is just right, lighting is everything in photography!
